What is membrane distillation?

Aqua-Sep is a hollow fibre membrane distillation process to purify water. It can be used to desalinate seawater and for certain types of contaminated water. In many applications, it will produce water of very high quality.

Aqua-Sep is most amendable to smaller purification centers of up to 50 m3/day. Suitable applications for desalination would be in villas, resorts, or other smaller communities that are remote from major supply sources. Lower flow, or batch treatment of wastewaters would also be suitable applications.
